🛡️ General Rules

`No Hate Speech`

Hate speech includes abusive or threatening language based on ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or similar grounds.

✅ Swearing is allowed.
❌ Sexual content is not (i.e literal porn). You can post risqué jokes in the #•🔞┋brainrot channel on Discord.

`Advertising`

Do not advertise other Minecraft servers or Discord channels.

`Spamming`

No spamming or flooding chat, including repeated messages, excessive caps, or pinging other players.

`Nicknames`

No inappropriate or misleading nicknames
Do not impersonate other players
Your Discord name should match your Minecraft name for clarity

`Harassment`

Bullying, stalking, or any form of harassment is strictly prohibited.

`Evasion`

Avoiding punishment by using alts, VPNs, or name changes is not allowed.

If you believe your punishment was unfair, open a ticket in 🎫 submit-a-ticket on Discord.

🌐 Minecraft Rules

`Alt Accounts`

Alt accounts may not be used for:

Extra vote rewards
Earning crate keys
AFK chunk loading

Only one account per player for gameplay advantages

`Claiming`

Claim only what you need
No excessive claim spamming unless approved by staff
Claims must be 100 blocks apart from other players
Inactive claims (90+ days) may be purged and become lootable or destructible

`Player Engagement`

PvP is off by default and is to take place in the PvP zone located at the northern-most portion of the map.
No player traps outside of the PvP zone, or baiting/ luring players into a PvP zone to kill them.

`Griefing`

Destruction or theft of builds or items is not allowed, even within your own party, clan, or guild.

Exception: Inactive claim purges (see Claiming section)

`Cheating`

No:

Hacked clients
X-ray mods
Exploits or unauthorized game modifications including auto-clickers.
Texture packs that reveal ores only. I.E X-ray packs. This includes packs that remove water & lava.
- Anyone caught doing so will receive a permanent ban / a complete account reset.

✅ Allowed: Mini-maps, performance mods (OptiFine, Sodium, etc.)

`Lag`

Intentionally causing lag using mobs, Redstone, or other methods is not allowed. See "Lag & You" below for more details.

`AFK`

No AFK machines
No auto-clickers
No bypassing the AFK timer to grind farms

🐢 Lag & You

Server performance is shared. More players and entities lead to more stress on the system. Any and all redstone machines are subject to removal without notice if a staff member confirms it’s the source of an MSPT/TPS drop. If you have questions about a redstone contraption, contact Charged Gaming staff prior to construction.

🐮 Entities (Mobs)

Cull unused villagers and mobs
Even post-1.14.4, too many mobs in small spaces hurt performance
Avoid mob cramming by spacing mobs out
Use mob farms responsibly

🧍 Armor Stands & Item Frames

Armor stands cause significant client and server lag
Item frames are usually fine but limit their use in large quantities

🧱 Redstone (Major Lag Source)

Keep Redstone builds reasonable in size
Machines must have off-switches when not in use
We prefer ice or water item transport over hoppers or minecarts
Any redstone / sorting / other mechanical device created that generates lag in the server is subject to immediate removal without warning. Please contact a staff member for approval for large projects.
